You have got to be kidding me charging $4.50 for 10 soggy French fries.

I have been ordering from Gracie Mews for over 10 years and never had an issue. Last night I put in a seamless order that said 30-40 minutes. After 60 minutes, I called politely to ask where the order was. Instead of asking for my name, number or address, they asked what I ordered and said they don't remember it so it must be out for delivery. After another 30 minutes, I called back to ask again and the same conversation happened. They were extremely unpleasant and unhelpful and I never got my food. That is the last time I am ordering from there, which is unfortunate. It's been a great neighborhood place.

My potatoes where burnt and the my eggs tasted rubbery. The entire meal was horrible! I just moved to the area and I was so disappointed I will never order from them again!!

By far BEST diner in the UES. I dont mind playing extra for the container if my food is going to arrive intact... And it did!
Their Cesar chicken salad is insanely good! They are generous with the yummy grilled chicken... I ordered my kids cheeseburgers and they didn't arrive soggy like in other places. A+++!

One of my favorite dinners for delivery. Super fast and always good.

Would not order from this place online. They never delivered my order. I had to call 90 minutes after I ordered to see where my order was....then was told it was out for delivery! But after 2 hours I had to call and cancel my order. Very disappointed

Food always takes longer than what it says. We called and they basically said "it's going to be longer, sorry bye"

I ordered food for my children an hour ago, it is still not here and they are 2 blocks away. I just called and it had not even left yet! My guess is that they did not even look at the Seamless order until i called!

Food was OK but it was soooooooooo late. I called and got the run around. Had to call the seamless customer service to call them to get them moving...2nd issue with this place....

2 hrs. Since order was placed and still no food after calling. If you can't handle a high volume of orders get off Seamless.

Holy crap, these guys are fast! Pretty sure our order came only 15 if not 20 minutes after placing our order. I was way impressed!
The burgers were huge and came with a lot of fries, which weren't soggy! I ordered my burger well-done and my husband ordered his medium, and both burgers seemed well-done. Minor, but it may make a difference to someone else. We were really happy with our decision to go here. Recommended!

Ordered breakfast on a friday morning one hour ago. Still not here. Called restaurant, guy barked at me and could not tell me if they got my order. Acted like I bothered them. Nice.

The got the order wrong despite us putting notes - called the restaurant - guy on the phone was extremely rude and then actually READ the instructions and admitted his mistake...then we found a large HAIR in the salad - DISGUSTING needless to say - never ordering from here again - and they have yet to credit us for our order - pathetic in a city with numerous options to order from... we are still trying to call the manager of the restaurant (1.5hrs later) and now they keep hanging up on us.........

best tomato and cheese omelette ever! huge omelette with a lot of homefries. homefries were crispy on the outside soft on the inside. got a side of bacon that seemed like it was crispy at one point but lost that a little bit, still tasted good though. I picked it up so I don't know how delivery is.

After waiting 75 minutes for my order I finally called to check up on my order only to find out that even though my order was confirmed, they lost my order and nothing had been started. The guy on the phone was rude, I was placed on hold for a long period and hung up on when I asked to speak to the manager. I had them refund my money.

Food is better when you dine in. Bagels were cold but you can't really expect them to be that hot when it is freezing out. Huge slab of cream cheese... I think they literally unwrapped a package and plopped it on. Bacon was perfect.

I order food from day almost every day twice a day, good food with a great variety, price is fine. They never get late, which really pisses me off with other restaurants.

The food arrived soaked in coffee and inedible. _Never_ order from this place. What part of "toasted" don't you comprehend? I threw the entire order out.
I am following up: cheap-skates. I am giving up on delivery: I spent over $100, and there is no ketchup? No pickle? Huh. I asked for these very simple things. Cheap, cheap, cheap, despite the very high prices and delivering blueberry muffins that are nothing but crumbs by the time they reach me. Really: it's too bad. Shame on you, Grace Mews Diner. I am a great customer (just look at how much I spent on you in the last few months). Yet you still can't get an order right.

This is my favorite place to order for breakfast on the weekends. The order comes super fast, in about 20 minutes and is always delicious. I have never had a problem.

Mediterranean Chicken Wrap and Mediterranean salad are solid choices. People who work there aren't the most competent though.

This place has been a staple for a few years. Solid greasy spoon food with quick delivery. Where they loose stars is in their execution. For instance if you order a bacon egg and cheese on toast. The bacon will be burnt and the bread not toasted. But if you order all things separately miraculously they don't burn the bacon and they actually toast the bread. I think this example sums this place up, avoid the more complicated items on the menu and try to keep the orders simple for them.

This place is the best! They are open 24 hours a day, and consistently make really really good food. Well, okay, my burger was a little dry once. But I order from here at least once a week. Their menu is so diverse, there is always something new to try (although their burgers and pastas are the best).
My order has never taken more than 15 minutes to be delivered. Usually closer to 10 minutes. I only live 2 blocks away, but that's still great. And they are very accommodating about any special requests.
Seriously, this is my kind of diner. Friendly, fast, and delicious.

I really love their pancakes. Their sandwiches and pasta are good as well. Their pasta has a lot of oil however and if you leave it in the fridge overnight and there was a creamy sauce on it it always congeals.

very poor-- overpriced rip off place should not charge for take out rips you off for sodas but only game in to now that reasonably priced diner on 79th and first closed which is also the tenants of the resnick family.

I like this place because of it's convenience. It's 4 blocks down and one avenue over from my apartment, but totally saves me when I'm too hungover to get out of bed. The only problem is, for a place that close to the proximity of my apartment, it should not take maximum amount of time to deliver an order. On the weekends, I don't order from them until after noon, so the fact that bacon and eggs take the full forty minutes to be delivered is a bit concerning to me. Also, they deliver it in odd containers. It comes in a box and more than once I have found the containers to be open and my food cold. All in all, if there was somewhere else semi-decent in my hood, I would definitely order from there.

Decent for diner food. If you order an omelette late night you get fries with it instead of hash browns.

And, took over an hour to be delivered - even though estimate was 25-40 minutes.

I love this place. It's my go-to "it's late and I still haven't had dinner" restaurant. I've eaten there twice, but most of the time I get delivery and the food is routinely good, delivered quickly, and still hot when it gets here. Definitely recommend it!

This was my third and final chance with this place. Not one delivery have they gotten right. I ordered a fried egg bagel and they sent me a tuna salad sandwich. This is the third they've just switched out what I ordered with something else.

Long time customer who was completely turned off forever this evening. A simple request to get confirmation for an online order turned into a lesson in nastiness and how not to treat a customer. There are too many other equally good options in the UES to warrant being treated which such disrespect.

Delivery came in a reasonable amount of time, but the food was truly subpar. I will never order from there again.

Gracie Mews is the best diner in the UES. I usually get the meatloaf (which is awesome), but today I ordered the grilled chicken - amazing! And it's a diner! I'm pretty sure I've never described a diner as "amazing" before. Plus, they give so much food - it seems pricey, but I usually am able to get three meals out of an order (I'm talking about the entrees, not burgers or sandwiches). Mashed potatoes always need salt, but other than that, they're great too. You can't go wrong!

I ordered from them for the first time the other day. Probably one of the BEST blue cheese crumble burgers I have EVER had. The fries were just okay though. And skip adding cheese to them, its not worth it.

Delivery is super fast and the french toast is wonderful. I love this place. I order breakfast, sandwiches, burgers and etc. from here.
They have one of the best cheeseburger's and fries around that shows up delivered tasting good...not soggy.
Their Blueberry pancakes are amazing.. I don't order the eggs with the pancakes any more because they will tend to package the eggs in a small container with the huge pancakes and messes them up.. so, I pay extra and get them separate if I crave a bite of both..
Their OJ is fresh, great and their delivery men are always friendly!!

If you're willing to pay the steep prices, the food is good. Their meatloaf with mushroom gravy topping is delicious and their mashed potatoes taste like the ones my mom made from scratch. The best part is the place is spotless, everything is fresh (most important qualities), and you see loyal locals everytime you go in there which is promising.

Favorite diner to order from in the area. Food is always warm and the delivery is quick. It's not the most incredible meal you have ever had, but for diner food it's great
Posted 3 years ago by Ed S.
First, delivery took FOREVER! Pancakes, bacon, and egg platter was good, except not enough maple syrup was given. Pancakes were very fluffy though. Ordered bacon and cheese on a sesame bagel (specifically indicating egg on the side) - and ended up with a plain bagel with egg and cheese all stuck together. Did not enjoy; there are enough diners in the area not to re-order from here.

I was highly disappointed with my order from Gracie Mews. Ordered a wrap...got a panini. On top of this, the panini was stale (as the other reviewer noted with their burger bun) and the sandwich itself was incredibly dry (no sauces as advertised)...or at least I didn't taste any. I had not tried this diner yet, but wanted to give them a shot. I will not order from this diner again.
On the positive end: efficient delivery (Hence, the 2 stars)

Once again I tried Gracie Mews to my disappointment. Got burgers. Both buns were stale. Asked for rare, got well done. They really don't seem to care.

Generic, oily and bland. Soda spilled all over food during delivery since they can't be bothered to care, I guess.
Will not order again.
